20th June 2011: Rare signed and hand illustrated copy of Beowulf and the Dragon for sale
It has been brought to our attention that a rare signed edition of Beowulf and the Dragon, autogrammed and hand illustrated on the title page by the book's artist, Anke Eißmann, is being offered for sale by the bookseller Antiquariat Bücherwelten in Düsseldorf. The photograph (left) taken from the bookseller's website, shows the hand-sketched illustration and signature.
